Description:
A beautiful lustrous uncirculated Peruvian silver crown size coin. This is the 1934 Republic of Peru One or Un Sol silver coin. The coin depicts the Liberty seated and facing right. Liberty is holding a staff in one hand and a shield that is sitting on the ground in the other on the obverse. The obverse has the legend "FIRM E FILIZ POR LA UNION" surrounding the seated liberty and the denomination below her. The reverse has the Peruvian arms within springs and having a small wreath above it. The reverse has the legend "REPUBLICA PERUANA LIMA 5 DECIMOS FINO 1934." This is a large and heavy coin with a reeded edge. It is graded Mint State MS 65 by NGC and comes in a plastic holder so labeled. A great looking coin in absolutely great condition to add to your collection. Please carefully review the scan presented as it is part and parcel of our description.

This is a one sol, which is approximately 37 mm in diameter and weighs ~25 gm of 50% silver. The coin has a reeded edge.

The coin is graded Mint State MS65 by NGC and comes in a plastic holder so labeled. It is beautiful with full luster and no observable wear or blemishes. It is great looking and rare in such a condition. It is much better looking than the photos suggest. The coin has nice eye appeal and is great looking.
