Peru - 1811 Large Silver 8 Reales - Scarce Type!

KM-106.2 Silver 8 Reales 1811 LIMAE JP in VF condition (or a little better) for this type. All of these "imaginary bust" coins seem to have been struck on oval-shaped planchets with the bust struck at the smallest part. Light rim issues (extra metal folded in, rim nicks, etc.) but most appear due to the way this was struck rather than any damage. A tiny dark spot (age spot?) near the nose. A great looking coin that really stands out for its unusual bust. As is typical of 19th Century KM, the values on these are quite low. Should be a great value at our low opening bid. Please see the photos to judge the condition of the coin.
