Item Description
This key blank is unprogrammed and must be programmed AT THE VEHICLE before it will crank the vehicle.  An Unprogrammed key with cause a "Thief"  light to flash on the dash.
You can program the key yourself IF YOU HAVE TWO EXISTING KEYS OF THIS SAME TYPE/SHAPE which are already programmed to crank the vehicle....otherwise you will have to hire an automotive locksmith or Ford dealer to program the key with special equipment which is connected to the vehicle.
There are just a few models (mfg 1998 or before) that are exceptions to the "two key rule"...these models have the early
PATS 1
system. The

Cloned keys (sometimes sold at hardware stores) usually will not work for programming this original style key. Cloned keys usually have an even bigger head with a battery inside...part numbers on a cloned key may include the letters ''RW'' or ''EK'' or ''PHT''.

Shipping
Shipping is by USPS first class mail.  Ebay has a tracking process and you can track your package.  I process orders the following morning, Mon - Friday.
Returns
Below is my ''general'' return policy for those situations where you decide that you don't need the item OR if you misread the description or compatibility chart and mistakenly bought the wrong item.
Refunds will be given under the following conditions: Email request for refund must be received within 14 days of receipt of item. Item must be returned uninstalled, undamaged, complete, and preferably in the original undamaged packaging. Buyer pays for original shipping and return shipping.
If you receive an item which is not as described OR receive an item which is broken/faulty...in those situations I will take care of you 100%.
If you have an item which is not as described or a broken/faulty item, please contact me via the ebay message system so that we can work out a solution...please include the exact year, make, and model of your vehicle.
If the item in question is a blank key that arrives to you in good condition and then is miscut by your locksmith or hardware store....these situations do not qualify for a refund or replacement.
