I lowered the price 7-4-21 because I did not test, and can not confirm, that the ssb sides are transmitting or at what wattage. When I last used this base I talked mostly DX on ssb but that has been awhile back so I can’t say with certainty that it is working properly now.
This is a vintage 40 channel Uniden CB base station with both AM and SSB. See photos that my frequency counter showed that channel 1-AM is right on frequency and the unit is transmitting (Frequency counter is NOT included in this sale). This sale does include a Uniden 5-pin microphone. There are some minor scratches showing from what appears to be light use. There is a small spot of rust on the back of the case which can be seen in the photo. The built in meter and lights all work as designed. I did use this as a home base radio but it’s been a few months and I now have no way to test it except into a dummy load. It does appear to transmit as designed when hooked up to a frequency counter. The A/C power cord is included but a D/C power cord is NOT included.
The unit will be shipped well protected with padding. However, because this is a vintage radio with delicate electronic parts and because of parts swappers, there is no guarantee it will operate after shipping and is being sold “As-is” for parts only and NO RETURN will be accepted.
