    Description

    VINTAGE - HISTORIC
    1968
    YIPPIE!
    NEON PINK
pinback button - 1 1/4" with straight pin
    Abbie Hoffman
(1936-1989) , was one of the
    "CHICAGO SEVEN"
a superb and creative agitator for peace,
justice, and America, was also the founder of
    the
    YIPPIES (the YOUTH INTERNATIONAL PARTY).
Paul Krassner, Founder and publisher of the
    "Underground Publication",
    THE REALIST,
    was
also a well-known Yippie! and activist. In a meeting with us
at Krassner's location in NYC, both decided to use this
simple button to use as both an ID for the Yippies! and
for the thousands of people who supported them.
    This is an
    original pinback.
The button is in mint condition with no
damage, rust or discoloration. It has
the Fox Buttons credit line on the curl.
Made by and from the collection of
LARRY FOX - "The Button Man" (Member: A.P.I.C.)
